Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl






I've decided to reinstall this awesome game and beat it  for the 2nd time. If any of you know anything about this game then you are going to get one hell of a high five from me. Stalker SoC is a crazy good fps that has a dark and weird sense of humor Pretty much you're in Russia/Ukrainian after some Russia goes off in Nukes and messes everything up. You play as a russian wanna be indiana jones  who lost all his memory trying to find rare artifacts. I had fun the first time I played through and some parts really did make me jump.  Theres allot of technical issues with this game and if you do decide to get it be sure to find some texture mods / mods that improve anything really.

P.S. Don't buy the prequel Clear sky it's total shit
Call of Pripyat is meh

    I have Call of Pripyat sitting around somewhere, I didn't play it yet. I'll check out SoC if I like CoP

    It's like 20 bucks on steam, but you can wait for a special steam sale and get it for like 5-10 bucks.

    Absolutely love SoC. Sadly my disks are scratched and so I cannot install, might just purchase it again!

    My friend was actually quite big in the modding scene for this game back in the day, sort of fanned the flames for my interest in the game further.
